Ahuriri Conservation Park is a vast wilderness area in the Southern Alps of New Zealand's South Island, known for its rugged mountain landscapes and pristine rivers.

this project captures a south island camping trip in the middle of winter where lots of layers and thick socks are a necessity. this spot felt like it was a hidden gem not too far off the main highway although felt worlds away.
